Rain

by Cassandra Klinedinst   Jul 12, 2005

The rain comes down like depressing tears
Helping me focus on heaven’s cries
Making me realize all life’s fears
Allowing me to notice all of the lies

As the clouds slowly start to arrive
So does the cold and horrid rain
Making me wish that I wasn’t alive
Never being able to rid the pain

As soon as the rain starts to slow
All of my pain finally begins to ease
Leaving my heart with nothing left to know
Making it all well worth the tease

And soon the sun will start to beam
Thus ending my darkened dream
