Frozen Divinity

And the gates opened before me,
the beautiful light seized to be blinding,
the unshaped road drawn to infinity,
the solitude as my welcoming.

A vague specter I became,
a sinful omen to those below,
a weightless been cast from air,
a dark wanderer returning home...

Beyond my eyes, beyond my soul.
In a holy place through a tranquil storm,
away from a smile, away from joy,
where the king of kings spoke to me in words.
He said to me: where there's none there will be none...

As I walked through this wondrous valley,
a million faces turned to me.
As I stared them back,
there white wings were to be seen.
The strength of all that I did,
it cursed my legs to crush on the ground.
My radiant guilt, my trembling sight to feed...The past.
