Tonight while I was in my bed,
I was thinking about today,
How in just a day my life has changed.
Just yesterday I was
With everyone and I wanted,
To go away but now that I am
Far beyond them.
I want to go back
Just for a day and maybe
Say how sorry I was
Just to lean on my daddy's lap.
To run in the park with my brother,
Or go to the salon with my sister
Maybe go out with my friends or
Cook at home with my mom
But for all that
I have lost in a day!
