Random Thoughts

Random thoughts inside my head,
Sleeping now, the tears unshed.
Thinking of what, the world could be.
Without the person that is me.

Keeping steady my train of thought,
Pain and sadness it has brought.
My eyes now open, for me to see,
What my life has come to be.

I know I’m here, stuck like this.
My present past, I’ve come to miss.
I know there’s nothing that I can do.
Now that my life, is without you.

My days are short, my hearts not full,
My taste is gone, my eyes are dull.
Your smiles missed, your kisses gone,
And every night, is every dawn.

Wishful me, in thinking that,
I would soon have you back.
I was wrong, never more sad,
Missing what I once had.

Useless now, is what I am,
Life isn’t going just as planned,
Now there’s nothing that I can do.
Since my life is without you.
