Have you ever tried to speak
But couldn't find the words

Have you ever wanted to turn back time
But it only ends up going forwards

Have you ever been in love
But the person doesn't love you back

Have you ever been lost in life
Finding yourself off track

Have you ever lost a friend
Because of a stupid fight

Have you ever been pushed around
Thinking that you might..

Have you ever been yelled at
For something you didn't do

Have you ever turned your back on someone
Because you just couldn't pull through

Have you ever had a broken heart
Thinking you would never heal

Have you ever put on a fake smile
All your emotions you would conceal

Have you ever been called a loser
Because you weren't the best

Have you ever been laughed at
Because you didn't pass the test

Have you ever been rejected
Because of your looks

Have you ever been called the nerd
Because you're all about books

Have you ever been in trouble
Because of your friends

Have you ever had to say goodbye
Thinking it was the end

Have you ever been forgotten
For absolutely no reason

Have you ever kept a tear soaked journal
A book for every season

Have you ever cried yourself to sleep
Wishing you were dead

Have you ever sewed a blanket of pain
Blood soaked through every thread

Have you ever wished you were a kid again
Because skinned knees are better than broken hearts

Have you ever wished that life was easy
A world of candy and sweet tarts

Have you ever made a mistake
So big it made you cry

Have you ever lost a loved one
Making you wanna die

Have you ever written a love song
But was to scared to sing it to ....

Have you ever received hate mail
Ending with "I hate you"

Have you ever heard someone say they like you
But it was all a joke

Have you ever been betrayed
And it made you want to choke

Have you ever cut your wrists
Because of all the pain and strife

Have you ever read a poem
That reminded you of your life.
