Don't have one yet

a heart broken little girl
letting her feelings show
walking down an empty lane
with no place left to go

he said he loved her
as he touched her face
but then every word
fell out of place

he found some else
to give his love to
he words weren't real
or even true

as the tears slid down
her pale flushed cheek
she saw them kiss
her heart so meek

gave out just then
she fell to the ground
her eyes soundly closed
and not making sound

he reached for her hand
as he saw her fall
she heard his voice
and a familiar call

i love you he said
as he saw his mistake
as his feelings for her
were more than fake

he kissed her cheek
as she opened her eyes
and saw that his love
was no longer lies

she whispered back
i love you too
and now both feelings
are very true
