The times have changed

Daddy I miss you
I miss all those
times I'd come home
and you'd be there waiting,

I miss the days
when we'd spend
all day in our pj's
laughing and giggling

I miss all those
night you'd tuck
me in and say I love
you and you'll always
be my baby girl.

I miss all your
stories and your
funny jokes,

I miss waking up
at night from a
scary dream and you
wrapping me up in
your strong arms.

Knowing I would
always be safe
knowing when you were
around I had no fears

But now that your gone
things have changed
and its not the same
anymore.

now I come home
to an empty house
and now I have to
tuck myself in at night

now when I wake
up from a scary dream
I lay awake all night
scared to fall a sleep.

Do you remember
all those times you would
tell me you love me and
that you will always love me
no matter what??

Well now I'm telling

be my daddy and I will
