The Last Time I Will Ever Feel Pain

I stare out the window,
saying over and over to myself "You should just go."
I go to my drawer, and I take out the knife,
I look at it and say to myself "You're the one thing I could always count on in life."
One more cut,
and the door to life will be shut.
I watch the blood drip,
I try to walk to my bed, but I trip.
To my eyes the world starts to fade,
This is the last time I will ever feel pain.
