Balance Lost

by Paradise   Jul 13, 2005

Standing on the edge
Focused on the minds destination
Eyes closed, paced breathing
Images flutter uncontrollably
Mind racing, Heart pacing,
Escaping to past moments of elation
Determining just how far to go
Leaning forward feeling lightweight
Decisions arise to seal an eminent fate
Power to direct is fleeting
While watching the setting of the sun
Time is wasting, the joy erasing
Giving up is easier said than done
Annoyance, disappointment, anger , dismay
Traits of discontentment,a fools way of living
There is an easy way to escape this
But to what measures would you pay the cost
An unnecessary detrimental act?
Instead consider the possible
Believe in the inconceivable
Regain control, Before your balance is lost
