Everyday I think of you and wonder how you are
Everyday I think of you and I know you are my star
I remember that certain smile and the kindness in your eyes
It's a pleasure to know you,someone so young and wise

It's how you make me feel when your presence I am in
It is just enough for me that I can call you friend
I wish I was a beauty so that I would catch your eye
But maybe it's a blessing you see that within me beauty hides

I hope your day is wonderful and challenging and full
I hope you are up to all your tasks and you can fulfill your role
And when your day is over and it is time to play
I wish you fun and laughter as you go merrily along your way
