Isolation

by JamesP   Jul 13, 2005

In the depths of my solitude
Secluded in my dreams
Devoured in the darkness
I scream my silent screams

But no one seems to listen
And no one cares to save
But all these secrets trapped in my soul
I'll take them to the grave

Happiness is not easy to come by
And to me it's overrated
So much more than I had thought
I am nothing more than hated

Though I may seem anti-emotional
Because I don’t break down and cry
But I do admit that sometimes
I want nothing more than to die.

And Deep inside I’m so alone
I can not see the light
That I could have shown
And I can’t keep up this show to hide
The isolation of my soul.
