Watching at the sidelines

by tiffany   Jul 13, 2005

Watching at the sidelines
nothing I can do
my words filled with forgiveness go unheard
as I realize that I may have made one of the biggest mistakes
as I go towards her and reach out
I find a glass barrier
I can see her and her pain but I can not do a thing
because she cannot hear me
I scream and pound at the transparent wall
that separates us
hoping that she will look back and she me and what she is leaving behind
I continue until all of my strength is lost
to something that I will never achieve
I want her to come back
but in a way I know she never will
so I fall back and watch her walk away
not being able to do anything
