Useless love

by tiffany   Jul 13, 2005

As you are over there with life so great,
I sit here hoping that fate
will bring us together,
now and forever.
I miss you though we aren’t apart
I love you so much, though I know its not smart.
Why don’t you see the same picture as me?
I want us to be together, oh why cant this be?

I try to forget so I take another sip,
feel the pain slip away, as the draught passes my lip
my vision gets blurry, the pain subsides
but when I wake in the morning, the hurt at my bedside,
I find my actions were useless
no comfort did I possess
And I’m right back where I started with my heart in a knot,
sitting here wishing that your heart could be bought.
