Unknown lover

Bittersweet love songs play through her head,
how lover turned sour, wishing she was dead,
tears formed in her eyes, a smile crosses her lips,
thinking about how she felt with that first kiss.

laughter dances in her eyes, blood slides down her wrist,
it all started god, now ends with a twist,
a story of love unknown, has ended this life,
what could have stopped didn't have the courage to put down the knife.

cold and life less her body was found,
a note of sorry attached to her hand as to why she was bound,
suicide was the fate of an unknown lover,
now that he knows he wished he could of saved her....
