Renewed

Flesh and bone,
sick and cursed,
cold as stone,
soul submursed.

tried and bent,
bruised and scarred,
come and went,
chained and barred.

tossed and turned,
rough and torn,
built then burned,
child unborn.

hopes destroyed,
filthy skin,
empty void,
should have been.

lost at sea,
lost at heart,
meant to be,
torn apart.

twisted pleasures,
broken veins,
blackened treasures,
lord of pains.

sunk too deep,
hung too high,
not a peep,
left to die.

redeemed at last,
after the wait,
left his past,
he chose his fate.

hand in hand,
through the dark,
in this man,
she made her mark.

what comes now?
all in the way.
come through how?
just one more day?

its about a boy who is just lost without a cause and then finds someone; however, there is much standing in the way of their relationship.
