They're Still There

by Fallen Angel   Jul 14, 2005

They're still there, the scars upon my arms.
They never went away, they sadly stayed.
Each and every slice is a reminder of my pathetic past, a dim memory of the trail lead of strife, something I didn't want to last.
I look down upon my once unharmed arms and I cry, remembering the tragic time I wanted to die.
I have found my savor, he helped me with this despicable behavior.
And now i refuse to go back to something that leaves you in the darkness for that's something I don't miss.
For knowing this I'm full of shame,
but I know I'm all to blame.

My scars I do not wish to bare,
for this I do not want to share...
Because I know they're still there
