Escape

Pain surrounds me
on a double edged cliff
i stand against the edge
my only escape blocked
it's suffocating me
and there isn't
another step to take
I cant turn and jump
too many loved ones holding on
there on the outside
trying to get in
but pain has turned me
and liked me within
my own heart is my prison
where no one escapes
the only way out
is to die
no pain no fear
except leaving loved ones behind
memories of times so dear
hold me back
their miserable faces
shine in my eyes at night
nightmares of soggy noses
and blood shot eyes
enter my mind
i know I'm cared for here
but i need to escape...
