What Happend To Daddy?

Mommy and Daddy got into a fight
I will never forget that loud screaming night
I heard Mommy say get out of my life
Then quickly after she said I'm no longer your wife
I heard Daddy plead and beg for mom to stay
But she refused and said she didn't want to be with him one more day
Daddy left in tears with a bag of clothes
I didn't understand but mommy said thats how it goes
From that day on its been mommy and me
Everyone tries to help but she says let us be
I don't no why daddy left or where he went
Today I got a letter that he recently sent
" My Beautiful Daughter,
Sorry I been gone and haven't talk to you, Why mommy made me leave you probably never knew, I know this is hard to understand for you are only a little girl, But you and mommy weren't the only people in my world, I had another friend her name was Sue, Thats why mommy wont let me see you, I hurt mom and made her cry, I don't no how it started I don't know why, Sorry you had to go through this with mom and stuff, No matter how bad you hurt keep your head up, I will always love you, and I hope you will love me too, But this is the worst feeling ever, So I must leave and come back never, I'll be watching over you from up up above, Remember never hurt the one that you love.

I'm only ten how can I go without a dad
Who is gonna help me with softball when I swing the bat bad
Who is gonna read my the scary stories at night
Daddy what did I do wrong what didn't I do right?
Please daddy don't leave me on my own
Please daddy don't leave me and mommy alone
What am I gonna say when I'm asked where my daddy went to?
I'll say he went up to heaven so he can watch me and in my prayers say I love you
