Will we ever learn?
You have stabbed us in the backs so many times
The scaring is permanent, the pain is forever
But yet we still love you, and pay for all of your mistakes
And then you leave us again until you need more help
What is a family to do?
As a little sister I have always looked up to you
That is until I was old enough to see
I don’t want to be anything like you
Sometimes I wish we didn’t have the same blood flowing through our veins
For I could never do such horrible things to my family
Couldn’t you see the pain in our eyes as you walked away?
Couldn’t you see that all we wanted was for you to stand on your own two feet?
Or did you just not care?
Since you’re all grown up now, we expected you to mature
But you have just caused us more grief
