False Infatuation

by Dee   Jul 15, 2005

Play me for a fool again
I don't think its cool
How can I love you
When you are breaking all the rules

You say you want to talk to me
But my calls, you do not answer
Stop treating me as if
Our love is a spreading cancer

Like an attacking deep within us
We are nearing the end
Cancer seems to hit us
When we think that we can win

A battle unbecoming
Once seemed worth the fight
But that was before
you cut me with a knife

Letting all the air inside
Spread our troubles wide
Now that we have no chance
You can run and hide

Better yet, just leave me
There is no chance for us
Our love is permanent damage
Now that I lost my trust

An ending to the pain
And the trials and tribulations
No more counting on you and
your false infatuation

This is a bitter poem and I don't know if it is too weird to post. I don't know where my words came from but they just flowed. I am tired of being treated like crap from people.

If I get bad reviews, I will remove it.
