Filled with hate
So many don’t like
Constantly feel like some one is watching
Nervousness has taken my life
My only love is walking out of sight
I watch for a while, sit and wait
For him to come back saying it was all a joke and that he loves me so
Wait for an hour or two, but feels like an eternity
Finally get up and walk away
Walk right past my house
Look in windows as I’m passing by
Some people closing stores and going home soon to be dreaming
Of love and happiness of magic and friends
I don’t dream
Some people stare as I watch my feet
My hair hangs in my face untidy and un-neat
No one can see my black eyes black like my soul
They would wonder if I was alive or just one for show
Out of the town now I’m at the hill
Look back one more time as the red orange sun, sets again like yesterday
I think I can see you, I think I can hear you laughing like we did together

Maybe I’m just dreaming maybe I’m just insane
But I thought I saw you standing right beside me…
As I keep walking…walking in the dirt
I look behind and see two sets of footprints
I know its not a dream, I’m not insane just yet
I don’t look up; I just look down and smile to myself
Smile behind my hair so no one else can see
I truly miss you even though you’re walking right beside me
I know you wont show yourself you’re too afraid for me to see
But that’s ok, as long as I’m not alone
