Friendship = Undefined

To my dearest friend(s),

I can no longer find an expression,
A phrase or sentence to say,
That would do justice, sweet friend,
To the pain you erase each day.

I know that heart of yours is broken,
And the hurt you hold is strong,
But these words i hope do help,
For without you, I'd be gone.

Without at least your memory,
I'd had nothing left to give,
No love, no will, no freedom,
But you gave me that reason to live.

You taught me to learn from mistakes,
To correct the things i did wrong,
You made me realize the heart,
I've had within me all along.

You've made me see the fighter,
That was buried so deep inside,
You opened my eyes to the hurt,
I so desperately tried to hide.

You are the most valuable thing,
A person could hope to find,
Truthful, honest and caring,
Still; Your friendship can't be defined.

- I know it's short and pretty simple, but this poem is dedicated to two very special people in my life. Jacklyn and Ariana. You mean so much to me i can barely describe you.

    omg hun thats so sweet! and a nice thing to come back too also! i'm so glad that i helped you throught things, i'm ALWAYS here for you and also ari she's also very wonderful friend. you too have made a great impact on me since you have been there for me since about the begining of my writing and i have been able to read your wonderful work as well as getting to know you you have inspired me. sorry if there is a lot of ypos but it's 1:42 in the morning i just got back. and it's weird all my favorites it shows that there is no new poems, but i know there are new poems posted. i head off for camp at the end of this week so i should be able to catch up in time to get behind again too! your comments were wonderful to return to, thanks a bunch.
