Angel

An angel lies with broken wings
Dying of a broken heart
The song of pain she slowly sings
Trying to mend to broken parts

Choked in tears
Too many whispers left upon her lips
Shredded with fear
Into pain she deeply slips

A broken angel behind a disguise
Darkness slowly consuming her soul
Her teardrops are her final goodbyes
Her suicide note she tightly holds

This angel now breathes no more
She has turned towards the shadows
Her broken body on the floor
Slowly her soul arose
