Western Star Trucker

Sun has opened my eye's
I don't want to leave your side
For the lonesome road
Here I go
Driving behind that open wheel
50 feet of chrome and steel
And a load for Ohio
Through nights un-known
A ride that won't let me go
I'm an Asphalt cowboy
Born to run underneath the star's
Still remain at close to your heart
I just ride, ride into the wind
Until I'm in your arm's again
Sometimes in the night il look at your picture , and I'm back again where id like to have ben wrapped up in your arm's , that's what I miss
I drive these horse's through the rain & snow
Cause I'm a Western Star Trucker
A high speed rodeo
Is all I know
I pay no mind to my lonely heart
I just ride
Il be out here on the wind
Until I'm back in your arms again
Western Star Trucker's
know of no lonely hearts
High speed rodeo's is all they know
They live in new zip codes
Lonesome U.S.A
Gone before the dawn
Out when night falls
Behind the open wheel
50 feet of chrome and steel
And a load for Ohio
All I hear is honey come home
This ride won't let me go
Driving this 18 wheeler home
Across the highway 109
Whining sirens and screeching tire's
All to common on this high speed rodeo
Driving these horse's through rain and snow
Driving 50 foot of chrome and steel
And a load for Ohio
Because I'm a Western Star trucker
This high speed rodeo is all I know
