More Than Meets The Eye

My baby girl she's as beautiful as can be,
Those bonny blue eyes, sweet cherubic cheeks.
Quite unexpected that Underneath it all;
There was so much that eyes could not see.

Only when listening close, did I notice her voice sing.
I heard something so lovely that no ears could perceive,
A message between the pauses of you're eloquent speech;
Saying perfectly silently that you cared about me.

And just before fascination clouded my surface sight,
I was struck down, blinded by these naive eyes.
Because never have I seen so clear and flawlessly,
A sea with an endless horizon reflecting you're beauty

No hands pressed against mine have ever decreed so much,
Shown me a world of passion, affection and love to share
For the whole life of me, I never could've guessed such;
That a blue-eyed angel would descend and capture my love.

Because there's so much more to my baby girl than meets the eye,
Sparkles brighter than the stars scattered across the night-sky.
And over the crescent moon and darkness wide;
I'll bet you there's no matching beauty to find..

-To match my bonny baby blue-eyes
