where the only pain we felt was a scratch,
our fights only lasted a day,
you didn't have to think of what to say,
remember when you didn't know what love was,
you never imagined breaking for a heartbreak,
where stomach pains were the only ache,
and your solution to every question was just because,
remember when we weren't quite aware of death,
you only thought the person left,
never knowing that you cared so much for them,
that you died as well when they left,

or even alcohol or drugs,
that you knew you'd never do them,
because you had too much in life to look for,
