Models and Mirrors

by Steffi   Jul 16, 2005

As I look in the mirror
I flinch and I shudder.
I cant believe that thing is me.
So many girls are skinner, prettier
Models do not look like me.

I look in the mirror,
And fight back the tears.
I need to loose this somehow.
People say Im beautiful,
I know they all lie.

But I go to school with
a smile on my face,
I wont admit anythings wrong.
Lunch break in the caffeteria,
Why bother eatting at all?

So I come home, turn on the TV.
Models do not look like me.
Beautiful People look this way...
Thats what their telling me.

I hide away in my room,
Glaring at that girl in the mirror.
Models do not look like me.
