A Face

by Sammy   Jul 16, 2005

So long ago I saw your face
When I truly had lost my place
After I had lost one I love
Watching His spirit drift to above
I was all alone after that
For I knew he wouldn' tcome back
Oh dear sweet Rimshee
I never knew what it meant to be
To be wanted, to be needed
To be loved, to be kept a secret
But I lost you
And it ripped me apart.

Eight years later
On a cold Florida, December
I saw your name
Still the Same
But, how?
Had you magically come back now?
No, it wasn't you
But then again it was true
You had come back to me
In a way that I would see
He has your heart
He is the part
That I have been missing
Since you stopped listening

Its seven months later
Here I am writing a letter
To my love
My one and only true love
Mark, You are him
You always have been
I have loved you since I saw your face
In that vision when I lost my place
It was you I saw so long ago
When I was left alone
Your face had given me hope
Even when I had to cope
With the fact that I might die
Five years back

Yes its true
I do love you
