You know what they say about love,
how you get it after years of trying,
after many failures,
after many years.

They say that teenagers cant love,
that we are too young,
that we don’t understand it,
we cant comprehend it.

Well.....

I fell in love,
I haven’t tried for years,
I haven’t had many failures,
And I haven’t spent many years.

I am a teenager,
Yet I’m in love,
I’m not too young in her eyes,
I’m understanding it just fine,
I’m comprehending it,
and I’m sure as heck sure of it.

I’m in love with her,
And she is with me.
