Sun rise/sun set

As the sun rises
I open my eyes
And I start a brand new day
And the first words I say
Will this day be worse than the one before
And if not less…even more?

Every guy has hope that they will the girl
The will complete their entire world.
I myself have the dream
But so far I have been
Coming up empty
Trying to find a girl who loves me.

As the sunsets
I lie down to rest
And think about everything I did
But some things I tend to forget
Mainly for the purpose of being lonely
Isn’t how I want to grow up to be.

So as I slowly close my eyes
I come to realize
That the only thing I look forward to
Is waking up and seeing you.
Wondering day by day if we’ll stay together
And never leave each other for someone other
Than me!
