Love is a plant

Love is much like a plant.

A plant needs water,
good sturdy roots,
and minerals from the ground to survive.

Love needs two people,
two hearts,
and love from those two hearts to thrive.

Love can be destroyed just as easily as a plant,
and it can be brought into this world, I can promise you that.

Love can grow to be a giant tree,
as a seed buried in the ground could one day be.

Love's touch can be as soft as the leaves of a plant,
and I know that for a fact,

You can fall in love,
and then you will see,
that love is like a plant,
and love needs love.

So love it,
water it,
and shelter it through life.
