Highschool

by Thomas Key   Jul 17, 2005

Almost everyone we know
goes to school
we all go

to see the people
and things
that need
to be there
to know how to get there

We all want to be somewhere
with someone
friends,
lovers,
mothers,
and daughters

We're introduced to a new school
a new life
a constant battle
to survive

We're supposed to be adults
yet we're treated like children
make up your minds
Just one or the other
we have being stuck
here in the middle
like this

In high school

Good job, Babe.. that's one thing I WON'T miss about High School... being treated like kids but told to be adults. Restrictions on EVERYTHING. And when you're a senior, you get more irritated cuz you're 18 or just about and ARE an adult, about to graduate, and they treat you like you're 5 and dumb. I hated it... and yet I miss it. lol. I love you!! xoxox.
