I liked it, although not the whole dying and leaving the daughter bit :( but the actual poem was good.

this is a great poem, Amanda! there is only one thing i can say. the line, "I feel like my heart has been ripped out,
Like something is wringing tears out of me" it just doesn't sound right to me... i think you should put an actual object in there instead of "something"... but the poem is still a 5!
