We often do
things and don't know
why we do them.
when we get caught in a lie
we try to turn
it around so
in-fact we look
like the victim
yet someone always
sees right through that.
or the one who
loves you who
in-fact is getting
their heartbroken by you
can see it but doesn't want to
so they ignore it
and put up with
the lies and the games
and then finally
one day the person
you've been hurting
all this time over and over again
says goodbye to you
not because they don't love you
but because its best
and its heartbreaking but
they know it has to be done.
