Thanks for treating me with some respect

The way you treat me nicely,
And the way you make me smile,
Though I haven't met you,
We've talked for a long while,

It feels I've known you ages,
Your great as a friend,
Its nice to know we're so alike,
And that I'll bother you til the end,

When I was in tears,
You made me know I'm not alone,
You brought understanding to my mind,
All of these you have shown,

So thank you for making me realise,
That it's not all my fault,
So thank you for drying my tears
And thanks to you my depression has come to a halt,

I know you think you haven't help,
But you've done more than you know,
And just to show my appreciation,
This poem I will show.
