Rain Rain Go Away

Your raindrops drip down
Faster though the night
Then like cries of the unknown
Are gone without a sight

Then rain drips down
From many a place
Each salt filled drop
A different face

Each raindrop falls down
While pleas sound out
Many a scream
Followed by many a shout

The rain crashes down
On ears once so caring
Now deaf to pain
Your patience wearing

The blue rain drops stop
As the red ones start
Crashing down like waves
On a person with no heart

The rain finally stops
Except for the constant patter in your head
Then you realize it doesn't stop
Just because they are all dead
