Well written. has meaning

I can't grasp the tone of this poem. It doesn't show any fear; it doesn't show any fright. It is written in a tone that feels dead inside when I read it. Emotionless, cruel and colorless are just a few words that come up in my mind after reading the poem several times.

Death really is nothing at all. No feelings, no touch, no emotions, no sadness, no happiness, nothing whatsoever. It's dead.
