Puddles

by Weeping Wolf   Jul 18, 2005

Rain gathers together
to form the perfect puddle
the perfect place to lay

let me drown in waters shallow
because i know my tears will soon fill
this little puddle i lay in

Sadness leeks in with building speed
but theres no need
to give me mercy anymore

rain, rain, pouring down
drown me in my sorrow
Puddles fill me up with
Memories
of my crying heart

Rain and tears can combine
The perfect puddle
let me kneel down into it
look at my shimmering reflection
just thinking
this must be the saddest thing

Puddles, puddles, everywhere
God knows Satan's secrets
those i will never tell
but look deeply into the puddles
Drink from their misery
because when rain comes falling down
there must be a reason
for all the puddles.
