Scars on my heart remind me about my past,
A torment of memories they seem to last,
The feeling is numbing and it's tearing me apart,
I can never take away these scars upon heart.
And they cut in so deep at every part of me,
The emotions keep running and I'm going crazy!!
No matter how hard I try to take them away
The memory of feelings seem to stay..
The wounds engrave themselves making a mark,
And the memory of feelings turn my soul so dark,
I'm living a life far from what it should be,
I'll never show it, but my life's not easy.
And darkness consumes my only light,
Taking away my will to fight,
Fears I have now, created by my past,
How long is this ordeal going to last..?
Tears of sorrow run forever,
My heart and the memory now stitched together..
What happened in my past leaves a mark
Scars from what happened now etched in my heart.
