Ten painful heart-breaks

With no hesitations,
I gave you my heart,
Gave you my love, and my trust,
From the start,

But as quick as I gave it,
Came break number one,
One painful heart-break,
Look what you’ve done.

Ok, we got over that,
But then there were two,
Two painful heart-breaks,
What should I do?

Surely to follow,
Came break number three,
Three painful heartbreaks,
Why are you doing this to me?

We all know, coming next,
Was, of course, number four,
Four painful heart-breaks,
Don’t want anymore,

Three guesses what comes next?
Yeah, that’s right, it’s five,
Five painful heart-breaks,
Why am I still alive?

Obviously following,
Came number six,
Six painful heart-breaks,
No easy fix,

I was sure it would end,
Till along came seven,
Seven painful heart-breaks,
Getting close to eleven,

I just about had enough,
Oh, here comes number eight,
Eight painful heart-breaks,
Not feeling so great,

Sick of this shit,
Oh yay, here’s number nine,
Nine painful heart-breaks,
Feeling divine,

I’m over all this,
This is break number ten,
Te painful heart-breaks,
Now this is the end,

I gave up,
Before break number eleven,
Ten painful heart-breaks,
Now I’m in heaven.
