I'm staying

Sitting here,
Drying tears that won't fall,
I wish that I could curl up,
And die.
It hurts so bad,
Hour after hour,
I've sat by the phone,
But he never called.
All I wanna do,
My wish of the moment,
Consists of never,
Hurting like this again....

Gradually,
My pain lessens,
My mind clears,
And I see my error.
I expect him to be perfect,
WHen he can't be,
I expect him to base his life around me,
And he can't.
It\'s not all his fault,
He hasn't done horribly wrong,
I'm the one,
Who needs to really fix things.

Pulling myself back together,
I tell myself,
No more pointing fingers,
No more wet eyes for stupid reasons.
From this moment on,
I'm going to "go with the flow,"

I'm going to fix my attitude,
Before it kills us,
Before it breaks our relationship,
Pasting being repairable.

He's my everything,
And no he's not perfect,

He is.

Because he won't change,

Because i know,
That I wouldn't know,
What I had until I lost it.
I'm staying right here,
Until my heart stops beating,
Or he kicks me to the curb.
