True Friendship

by Savy   Jul 18, 2005

I’ve thought about our friendship,
And how much it means to me,
How God couldn't
give me a better gift,
‘Cause our friendship was ment to be.

I know we always fight a lot,
But it’s not to make you mad,
I just don’t like to see you get hurt,
‘Cause it hurts me to see you sad.

Nothing matters more to me,
Than being best friends with you,
The one that stuck by me,
You’re one of the very few.

You listen to my problems,
You show me that you care.
I know everything’s gunna be alright,
‘Cause I know you’re always there.

You’re the only one,
That actually makes me smile,
When I'm drowning in my tears,
Or frowning in my sorrow
The one who’s been there for me,
Through thick and thin it seems,
But you honestly don’t know,
How much it really means.

If people saw you from my eyes,
They’d see how special you are,
Not just on the outside,
But that you really come from the heart.

Look all over the world,
I will make anyone a bet,
To try to find a best friend greater then mine,
They can’t; you’re the best it gets.

I really want to Thank You,
For always being there,
For the good times and the bad times,
And all the memories that we share.

To just say Thanks,
For everything you do,
Instead of being someone else,
Thanks for being you!
