No longer

I am not at all what I appear,
I have hidden me because of fear.
I have hurt you in the past,
But our relationship did last.
I know I am not how I act,
That is the sad fact.
I have not been nice,
I cheated twice.
The real me still wants to hide,
But I will no longer allow it inside.
I am me,
What more can I ask to be?

    I think you have great potential. You have skill for rhyming..you can only get better. This one was pretty good. It could have more depth and detail, but then again it's your writing. Keep it up, and be yourself...that's all anyone can ask of you.
