Rain

by Danielle   Jul 18, 2005

The rain hits my skin as I start to shiver. Walking away from everything I've ever known seems too easy. Mother nature crosses with the darkness inside my well-kept head. You touch my hand and I snap back into reality that really isn't real. Can this be the part that you say you love me? It can't be. I'm a mess so why are you still here with me in the rain? The rain is covering up my poisonous tears as you stroke my cheek. You don't have a clue what you're in for.
