Evry day that passes by,
i look to u in the heavenly sky,
i get down on my knees and pray to god,
that some day i'll have u here again to hug,
i hope u know i still remember,
the words u last said,'i'll love u forever'
some memories they fade away,
there some that die,
and some that stray,
but sorrow lingers inside of me,
when i think of u not being with me,
i know that some people they forget,
but grandmom u were the best,
u taught me everything i know,
in my world u were there to hold,
if ever i needed someone to talk,
u'd be there to leave a mark,
the night u died i cant forget,
i held u there without regret,
in my arms u laid dead,
i slept beside u on your bed,
the doctor came to take u away,
i held on to u, to make u stay,
but i knew somehow u had to go,
god wanted u to play a role,
i know right now ur there in heaven,
but god takes every gift thats given,
ur there loving and protecting me,
from all the evil i cannot see,
thank you grandma for being there,
i still love u and wish u were here.
i'd really appreciate if u voted for this poem, its coming from the heart and my grandmom was really my everything, every word of this poem has a meaning to me.
