When You Left

by Black~Rose   Jul 18, 2005

When you left
You left everything
You scent on my bedding and pillows
All the scars
Every memory
Even your son
Out of all things, your son
he was the greatest
If only you were there to raise him
Jace is a very talented, loving, smart little boy
But he'll never know
You never earned the right to watch him bloom
He'll never be like you
I taught him well
I love him as if he were my own son
He was my own
He called me MaMa Kay
I was the closest mother figure he had since his real mom ran off
Now he's been taken away from me
I told you he needed a doctor
But no you rather stay home
Beat us both
Then go to sleep
You never knew Jace Allen
Now that he's gone you'll never know
He's on heaven now
Where he belongs
