This poems like looking in the mirror... I can't describe how much my dad hurts me, by simply not calling or talking stupid about how he has a "new life now". Anyway this poems great...

sadly, i can realate. i loved the part about father not dad.
i know, it's like ur supposed to love him cause ur his kid but he hasn't even begun to fill the role as dad.

YAY!! I feel the same way about my dad. He hasn't spoken to me in a LONG time. He writes snail mail everyone once in a while, but it's only to send me money. Cuz apparently he thinks he can buy my love. I love him cuz he's my father, but I don't think of him as a dad. He was never there. Aweosme job at portraying your emotions. I loved it!
