A slow moon will rise
Bats fly and flitter about
The ghostly silence

Haiku:

Pronunciation: 'hI-(")ku

An unrhymed verse form of Japanese origin having three lines, usually has a seasonal reference or on nature.
Arrangement: 5-7-5 syllable count.

    Thanks for you comments, highly appreciated. For some reason the site would not let me post under the heading of nature, I think it had something to do with my commentary after the poem. that's the reason why it is posted under slang poems.
