Rain Dancer

by Weeping Wolf   Jul 19, 2005

See her dancing in the rain
trying to rid her past of pain
She sings away all her fears
All the while the rain covering her tears

She sadly wonders why her love was slain
As she sings sad songs of love in the rain
Joy is nothing more to her sadly
And this cruel fate has left her lonely

But soon the sky stops the rain
But she will never be dry again
The bravest of us all
has at last fallen
She paid the biggest price
and won the biggest prize

For now she no longer stays
Dying in this wretched place
No more cries for now she flies
Because on this day she can finally be
Free...Free...Free

~She no longer dances in the rain~
~For now she has no more pain~

I saw the title of this one and was instantly reminded of a poem I wrote, It was in fact very similar.. I like it! writing poems about darkness and horror has always been something I enjoy, I find them the best way to create a picture in someones mind, this poem showed the pictures well, I could form the images in my mind, I enjoyed it..

    Take care

    keep writing
