My sorry poem

I almost lost you,
the very air I breathe.
I screwed up bad,
and caused you pain.
It almost cost me everything,
all that I live for.

I cried tear after tear,
sobbed cry after cry.
My heart was ripped,
Right out of my chest.
If you had left,
I don't know what I would've done.

Thankfully we're still,
Meant to be together.
I'm learning from my mistake,
I don't want you to hurt.
No more will I be horrible,
Nor ignorant.

I'm sorry I hurt you,
I didn't mean for it to happen.
You deserve the very best,
And I plan to give it to you.
I love you!
Will for the rest of eternity!
